I am interested in spatial patterning and predator-prey dynamics, particularly under the influence of anthropogenic stressors.  I use combinations of field manipulations and mathematical modeling to ask questions regarding how patterns of abundance and distribution are formed.  In particular, I am interested in the effect of anthropogenic stressors on these patterns by affecting life histories and species interactions.  I am currently looking at the distributions of two corallivorous gastropods in Moorea, drivers of these distributions, and how the interaction with coral is altered by the addition of stressors that affect both the gastropod and the coral.
